A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST
1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).
Physician.
2. Why do you make art?
I think everyone is born with a need to be creative and express themselves. I never lost my (childhood) fascination with creating art.
3. What inspires you?
I try to capture a moment in time. I am always thinking about color, how the light changes it, and clouds (they are always changing...)
4. What/who are your influences?
I admire Matisse's work over his career. He adapted and changed his art over time, it was very brave.
5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?
I am not sure about this one. But I have wondered what were Van Gogh and Gauguin like as roommates?
